- hi. i'm emmy. i'm a self-harmer, honestly, when i'm upset, i'll try to find anything to harm myself with; knives, razors, lighters, anything. it's the only way i've learned how to cope. people always call me an attention whore for it, but come on.. do you honestly think i'd try so hard to hide my self-abuse if i was an attention whore? no, i'd be going around wearing tank tops & short shorts, showing off my ugly cuts, burns, & bruises. i got into drugs at a very young age, & it wasn't just weed. it was ecstasy, cocaine, shrooms, mdma, everything but needles. why did i start doing all this shit? it came naturally, i guess. i grew up around it; you know? disturbed family life, never got to be a kid, grew up to fast, lost my virginity too quickly & to what? rape. that sort of commenced it all, i guess. & then bullying came into place. aha, grew up an eleven year old skank, a skid, maple ridge scum, et cetera. i had fake friends, boys who loved me for all the wrong reasons, parents who grew to not care anymore. but i'm a good actress. i can fake a smile, i can laugh without pain, i learned when & when not to cry. i also see all the bad in myself, i never usually see the good. i think i'm fat, unattractive, all that stuff. people tell me otherwise, i just don't see it. i think i'm beautiful on the inside, passed all the bitterness & hatred, there's a teenager inside, a happy one. & she wants to get out.

i’ve always been the good girl. the girl whose parents said that she would grow up & actually become something. but i’m not like that anymore. i never thought i’d drink or pop those pills, but i guess i was wrong. now that i’ve done it, i don’t wanna stop. it’s like cutting, once you drag that blade across your skin, you can’t fucking stop. you don’t wanna stop. i know you wanted a perfect teenage girl, but in reality, there isn’t one.
